The Issue
This recruitment company operates in the temporary labour market and provides staff to businesses enabling flexible cover for maternity, holiday and sickness.  Alongside the fulfilment of other staffing requirements, this creates a significant number of worker time records.

The company were processing timesheets, purchase orders for Umbrella companies and in-house payroll using their own software.  Timesheets for agency staff were having to be checked, input and processed on a daily basis, to ensure daily payment obligations were met.

With the business growing, the recruitment company were interested in exploring a cost effective and efficient alternative to processing timesheets.

The Solution
Horizon Outsourcing is now supporting the recruitment company with the checking and input of daily, weekly and monthly timesheet information for agency staff.  Horizon’s team in Mumbai receive the timesheets, check them for any errors, load them on to the payroll system, and supply the in-house payroll team with inputs according to the rates and rules for each of their clients, whether staff are being paid via a limited company, Umbrella arrangement or PAYE.

If agency staff adhere to the lunchtime cut off for submission of their timesheet, processing work is completed that day by Horizon allowing workers to be paid on the same day.
