Firm X is a small, family run accountancy firm employing 35 staff. Operating from two sites in Northamptonshire, it offers accounting and business advice services to its clients, and prides itself on its professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Recently Firm X’s management team experienced challenges recruiting a payroll manager to replace a manager leaving the firm. With payroll services a critical business process for their clients, Firm X was keen to explore other ways payroll work could be completed to ensure business continuity.
Horizon Outsourcing provides a seamless outsourced solution for Firm X. Payroll work comprising monthly payroll, some weekly payroll, director-only pay and associated reporting including pension reports, is processed using Sage Payroll by Horizon’s team in Mumbai assisted by management from the UK.
All work is turned around as quickly as possible, often during the same day depending on the time when data is received. The team records time spent on the work on timesheets, so that Firm X can invoice their clients.
